Cookie Policy

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. Some keep a site working, while others count visits so the operator can see which pages people read. This website sets the second kind only after you agree.

Your choice on the cookie banner

A banner asks for your choice when you first visit. Click Accept to allow analytics, or click Reject to keep it off. Until you choose, analytics stays off. The banner stays on screen until you click one of the two buttons.

The website remembers your choice in your browser's localStorage under the name cookie_consent. It does not send that choice to a server.

To change your mind, click Cookie settings in the footer of any page. That link reopens the banner, so you can click Accept or Reject again. Your new choice replaces the old one.

Analytics cookies

The website uses Google Analytics 4, with the measurement ID G-4XWKL3EWWQ. The script loads only after you click Accept. Consent Mode v2 starts in the denied state, so Google gets no analytics permission before you choose. If you click Reject, analytics stays off. Rejecting does not stop you using any page or the request form, so the choice is yours.

Clicking Reject also acts on cookies you already have. The page switches Google Analytics off for that visit. It then deletes any cookie from this site named _ga, _gid or starting with _ga_, so a choice made after an earlier Accept removes them.

After you accept, Google Analytics sets these cookies:

  • _ga tells one browser from another, so visits can be counted.
  • _ga_<id> keeps the state of a visit for the G-4XWKL3EWWQ property.

No advertising cookies

The website sets no advertising cookies and runs no advertising network. Consent Mode keeps the advertising signals denied, while the analytics signal stays denied until you accept.

Cookies the site needs

The request form works without cookies. The website stores only your banner choice, and it keeps that in localStorage rather than in a cookie. Therefore a cookie-free visit is possible if you click Reject.

Managing cookies in your browser

Most browsers let you control cookies in their settings. However, the steps differ from one browser to the next, so check its help pages. With most browsers you can:

  • View the cookies stored on your device
  • Delete all cookies or only some
  • Block cookies from every site or from chosen sites

If you block cookies, the site still works. You can still browse the pages and send a request. Google Analytics, however, can then count no visits from your browser.
